Highlights from the First Two Weeks

It has been a very busy first two weeks with Jarrett home. We've been loving getting to know our little boy. He's pretty alert in the morning and in the evenings, but takes a good nap in the middle of the afternoon which allows us to get a few things done around the house. He has been a pretty good sleeper at night as well (waking up to eat every couple hours or so).

We were happy to have a few visitors this week. Adam, Emily and Owen stopped by, as well as Elizabeth, and of course his Grandparents and Aunt Jaina. We were thankful for their snacks and visits, and were also brought a delicious meal from our neighbors this week.

After I started feeling a bit better, we ventured out for a walk at Meadow Ridge Regional Park and a snowball. Meadow Ridge has turned out to be a great place to walk with a stroller and I imagine we will visit often. We returned again today after our doctor's appointment, as it is conveniently right across the street.

Jarrett has also enjoyed sitting outside on the porch and enjoying the cool weather we've been blessed with this July.

A few pictures from the past 2 weeks.
