5 months!

Jarrett has turned 5 months! We have no idea where the time has gone. The last time he went to the doctor he was 27 inches long and 16 pounds and 12 ounces. He is in the 90% for height which explains why all his pants look like capri pants. 

Jarrett has learned to roll over now from back to front. He still isn't consistent with rolling both ways quite yet. We find him rolled onto his side or his stomach now in his crib at night and he sometimes cries out because he gets stuck in a position  he doesn't want to be in. 

He slept last night for 11 straight hours without waking up! This is the first time, but we hope for more days like this to come. Although I still woke up and kept checking on him. Maybe the new humidifier and sleep sack we bought him have something to do with it!

We visited with some family this month and Jarrett spent some time with Aunt Lee. Jarrett loves to eat. He recognizes bottles and has started reaching for our food. His daycare provider told us that they have to hide other kids bottles from Jarrett because if he sees someone eating, he wants to join in. Our doctor told us to go ahead and start him on some oatmeal, but we haven't made that leap quite yet.

Jarrett was trying on some of his West Coast hipster attire, with his I Love Portand t-shirt, his sperry's and a hand-knit sweater from Heidi.

And speaking the west coast, Jarrett had a short visit  with Pat who was visiting from Seattle.
