Jarrett turned 9 months last week! He didn't want to show the number on his card this month. He wanted to eat it instead. He had his 9 month well visit and was 19 pounds 10 ounces and 29 inches long (which seems to be pretty average, just a little longer).
Jarrett has been very busy. He loves playing with his toys and books, being outside, sitting in his high chair and of course, watching and laughing at his buddy, Harper.
He eats three meals a day now of mostly purees (along with his bottles). He has enjoyed a few things in the mesh feeder, like bananas. He has also tried some rice cakes and some teething biscuits but hasn't really figured out how to get smaller things to his mouth. He can manage a few things that are about potato chip size.
He can crawl every direction but forward, but he is trying really hard to figure it out! He can get up on all fours, and rock back and forth but still can't seem to move forward.
He continues to sleep about 11-12 hours each night and takes 2 or 3 naps a day. We are very fortunate to have such a good sleeper. We are crossing our fingers that it doesn't get disrupted too much when his teeth finally come in.
