I'm a little behind in blogging. We've been busy and Jarrett's been even busier! We went out last weekend for Aunt Jaina's birthday. We were out way past Jarrett's bedtime, but he didn't seem to mind too much. He had fun banging spoons on the table until he decided to take a little nap while we ate.
Jarrett also had some fun with Daddy on Friday while he was off. They went to Robert E. Lee Park for a walk and Jarrett enjoyed the swing. Daddy said he didn't want to get out of the swing and finally fell asleep in there!
On some nice weather days, I have rushed home to take Jarrett on some walks on the NCR. He can't get enough of the fresh air.
He is getting busier and busier and really enjoys playing with his toys now. He loves jumping up on and down on this horse from Daddy's coworkers and playing with his beads. He sits up much better now which gives him more freedom to play with all his toys.
Speaking of busy, we can no longer leave Jarrett bouncing happily in his bouncer without keeping a really close eye on him. Daddy caught this picture of Jarrett crawling out of his bouncy chair.
Jarrett can't quite crawl yet, but he is trying. He can now get up on his knees and rock back and forth so we are pretty sure crawling will be any day now. We find him turned in all sorts of directions in his crib in the morning and after naps. It may be time for us to lower the crib and start baby proofing. He gets frustrated that he can't get where he wants.
