We checked out the conservatory first while it was still light out. Jarrett had just learned how to walk, so he was pretty excited running around outside before we first went in. He loved looking all around and especially loved the fountains.
We stopped in for dinner at the restaurant, and then headed out to see the lights once it got dark. Jarrett was impressed. He especially liked the train set up they had. At the end of the night we stopped in for a cup of cocoa and a snack to warm up.
The next week, Daddy took Jarrett back to Farm Sprouts to learn all about evergreens. They listened to some stories, and made a little centerpiece and ornament. Jamal said Jarrett did a lot of running around mostly.
We also took advantage of some nice weather that weekend, and took Jarrett to try his bike out at the playground. He had a lot of fun on his bike and climbing up and down the slides.
That afternoon, we also hit up the volunteer fire department in Glyndon to see the trains. Jarrett was fascinated and seems to have wanted to go into the train set area. He also loved pushing the buttons around the train area even though I am not sure he knew what any of them did. He also didn't want any other kid to push the buttons and often said, "No!" and pushed kids away when they came near a button he was using. Uh oh. I guess we need to work on sharing.
We also revisited the Baby BSO, which was a hit again! Jarrett sang along, clapped and danced. He also enjoyed playing with the toys and instruments before the show started.
Jarrett also went to church on Sunday with Aunt Chris and his cousins. He seemed to have fun and behaved himself. We tried to get a few pictures in his cute Christmas outfit but he didn't really want to sit still!
He wants to climb on everything these days and we often find him pushing things together so he can climb up higher. He learned how to blow his nose, which has been nice, as he does not like for us to wipe it for him. Whenever he finds a box of tissues or wipes and takes one out and blows his nose. He is getting much better at eating with a fork and is very proud of himself when he does so! He has a few new teeth coming in. Soon, to have a total of 4 up top and 4 on the bottom. He has been chewing on his fingers in the back of his mouth recently, so he may have some new ones coming in back there as well.
He loves his dog more and more and can often be found bringing Harper toys, snacks, or trying to cuddle with him on his bed.
Coming soon: Christmas in Pepperell
