Picture Updates

We just wanted to share some pictures from some of our activities this past month. The weather has been nice so we were out and about enjoying some solo time before the new baby arrived (which she has- that update later! Trying to get caught up!)

We didn't do much on Easter with everything going on. But we did enjoy a nice brunch and Jarrett had an Easter basket that he found less than entertaining.  Mostly he liked the toy Ukulele that my parents sent him. I need to figure out how to include videos as this is a go to toy that he plays with constantly- singing loudly as he plays along.

Jarrett also spent some time at Patient First due to Pink Eye.He didn't seem to ever even notice he had it.

 He read some new books with Daddy.

Helped Mommy fold the laundry,

Worked on learning his letters.

Set up and enjoyed the water table.

Supported the Orioles on Opening Day.

 Read some books that Julie sent him. (Mommy has now read a certain Clifford book a good 8 million times)

Enjoyed a leisurely breakfast with Daddy. They like to share.

We took a few trips to Storyville. A time or two with Daddy and I even got to tag along one day when we went on the weekend. They were having an early learning event that day too. We stopped in to check it out and got some free books. Jarrett wasn't really interested in story time. He sort of sat back and observed...until it was over and then he wanted to participate.

The highlight of the last few weeks for Jarrett though was probably the return to Farm Sprouts. He went with Daddy and Aunt Jaina to learn all about bunnies.

First they stopped for some "Pick Your Own Tulips."  Daddy must have taught Jarrett well because later in the week he tried to pick a flower out of a pot at a shop. Ooops.

They learned about where bunnies lived and crawled through a tunnel of hay to simulate where rabbits live. As you can seem Gus the teddy bear got to go on this outing. He doesn't usually leave the house.

 He got to pat some baby bunnies. Which he apparently loved and kept going back for more.

He got to touch and play with some carrots and also taste test cooked carrots and raw carrots. Then they graphed which one the kids liked more. Jarrett voted for cooked.

He played a game called, "Pick up the Poop." He is trying to put paper poop into a bucket.

He painted a carrot picture with Aunt Jaina.

Daddy read him a book. 

And of course, he had to stop by and see his friends the sheep and goats before he left.  We can't wait for this week's Farm Sprouts- All about Recycling!
