Memorial Day Weekend

We had great weather or our long weekend. We took Jarrett for a hike at Double Rock Park on Saturday and tried out the new hiking backpack. Jarrett was a fan. I think he liked his view and it wasn't so hot being pressed up against us. It also comes with a sunshade which is nice. The hike was a little hillier than Daddy would have liked to try out the new pack.

We also went to Aunt Lee's for a Memorial Day cookout. Jarrett enjoyed playing with his cousins and hanging out watching everyone. He also got to visit with Robert and get some love from Great Aunt Pearl.

We also went hiking again on Monday. This time we went to Soldier's Delight Environmental Area. It had a nature center and a pretty nice hiking trail. It was a bit sunny, so we were glad to have that sunshade with us!

Jarrett is on the move now, crawling all over the place and investigating everything. He especially enjoys the dog's bowl and trying to figure out how to get the door open so he can go outside. He gets really excited when we open the door so he can go outside. He definitely has us on our toes!
