11 Months

Jarrett is 11 months old!

As you can probably tell from the pictures above, Jarrett doesn't sit still much anymore. He crawls all over the place, and is very fast. We finally got some baby gates up, but now he is trying to climb up the other set of stairs!

We haven't had a doctor's appointment in a while, so we are not sure what Jarrett is weighing in at, but he's heavy, and squirmy and a lot more difficult to carry around!

He eats a ton and loves his finger foods. His favorite is still banana, but he's been loving peaches and pears too. I've also been making a few things with vegetables hidden in them like spinach and zucchini fritters. We quickly found out that green beans were not a favorite as he picked them one by one off his tray and dropped them to the floor. We broke down and let him try eggs and peanut butter and he isn't showing any signs of allergies. Actually, he decided to try the peanuts himself as he grabbed a handful of snickers ice cream from Jamal and shoved it in his mouth too fast for us to catch.

He finally has some teeth coming in. Two on the bottom. Besides lots of drool, he has been dealing with it well and hasn't shown any irritability or disruption in his sleep.

He talks a lot. He continues to say "Dada" and has added "Hi!" (and waves to himself while he does this). We also heard a lot of "uh oh" recently.

We added a swing to our porch which has been getting a lot of use, a long with a splash pad and a pool for the backyard.

He continues to love listening to music and dancing, watching bubbles, pushing the door open and closed and has a growing interest in buttons and levers.
