While Jamal has been off, we went on a few more outings. We went to the Science Center (which turns out is free with our teacher IDs). Jarrett was fascinated with the blue crabs for some reason. He even got a high five from one! He also played in the children's room and is looking forward to coming back when he is a little older!
We also went to Clark Eliok Farm in Ellicot City. We found it randomly while looking for a place for for Jarrett to see some animals. Turns out, they have been moving the attractions from the Enchanted Forest to the farm. According to the website, they have been moving them slowly for years so some of them were creepy and old looking while others were freshly painted (and still creepy). It was a neat place to walk around and Jamal had fond memories of the Enchanted Forest attractions from his childhood. The farm animals were very friendly and the little goats were a favorite of Jarrett's. He even petted (patted?) one quickly. He got a little nervous around some of the larger animals, but seemed amused by the pigs.
